I’ve noticed that people have been registering on my blog. I’m not sure why, since registration is not required to comment, and registered users cannot do anything non-registered users can’t. Perhaps people are clicking the register link thinking it’s to register for wordpress? I don’t know…

Does anyone know of any digital voice recorders that can record somewhat high quality (meaning higher quality than a cell phone) audio files, and preferably cost less than $30? I’m making a podcast with one of my friends, and recording with my KRZR isn’t really cutting it anymore. The podcast is actually already on iTunes, check it out over here. The content is somewhat explicit, so no childs listening please.

Somehow a small piece of paper has slipped inside my computer’s Superdrive (that’s what Apple calls their optical disk drives, no idea why), and it no longer accepts disks. When I put one in, it slides in like it should, then the drive hesitates and spits it back out. Luckily there’s no visible damage to the disk, but the drive is basically out of commission for the time being. I’m planning on dismantling the computer on saturday to retrieve the paper from the drive (I would use tweezers, but i can’t really fit them in there…Plus I want to open my computer :P). I would be doing the dismantling tonight, but apparently we don’t own a Torx screwdriver of the right size to open up a MacBook Pro, so it will have to wait. Oh well, I rarely use the optical drive anyway.
Spiderman 3 was a great movie. One of the most anticipated movies of the year, and it’s only May (reminds me of 1999, 2002, and 2005 and their respective star wars releases). I really loved the action sequences and the sandman discovery scene. They were…magical. And the scenes where Peter Parker is an emo had me laughing and cringing at the same time. He rocks the emo look so well it’s crazy. He should have kept his glasses though, they would have perfected it.
Without giving away too much, let’s just say that some main characters die in the end, and there’s an awesome battle involving basically everyone, though I’m not saying who’s on who’s side. It’s an awesome scene, and Venom is done perfectly. I’d like to see Carnage (not Carthage, Cutter…) in a future movie, but they’ve stated that 3 is the last one. Riiiiiiight.
