(The above amount is an approximation)
Apple claims that since its release, Safari for Windows has already had 1 million downloads. In 48 hours. Wow. Plus, they released v.3.0.1 to fix the major security issues in it. Impressive, no?

A better question would be: “How many people are using it a week later?”
I found it horribly ugly (it tries to imitate the Mac theme on Windows, bad idea) and a RAM hog. I definitely won’t be using it for everday browsing (*huggles Firefox*), but I’ll keep it around for testing.
I must say that it’s useful having 4 browsers around when designing sites 😛
Yes, but as most people have brought up, what would the number be of people still using it?
It was kind of a big thing, but I wonder how many people would download a brand new Firefox 4.0 if it suddenly came out right now?
True, true. But still, a million downloads in two days shows apple’s ability to generate interest 😛 And you can wave your reality distortion field theories all you want, show me a Microsoft download that hit a million in two days.
plus, what happened to firefox 3? o.O
