The assignment was to do a research project on some aspect of Islam, particularly Islam in the former African French colonies (and even more specifically, Algeria). We elected to research the abuse of women in Muslim culture, and for the visual part of our presentation, we made this movie using a lot of clay, my computer, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boinx.com\/istopmotion\/overview\/\">iStopMotion 2<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"355\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/D22BbjTbzww&#038;hl=en\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/D22BbjTbzww&#038;hl=en\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" wmode=\"transparent\" width=\"425\" height=\"355\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>The class absolutely loved it, and compared to the powerpoints everyone else was giving, I&#8217;d say our project was probably the most entertaining.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past 2-3 weeks, I&#8217;ve been working on a project for my French class with a friend of mine.
