I want a Mac for various reasons (I don&#8217;t have a Mac, less viruses, better bundled apps, etc.), and my limit is around $2500. Here are my choices:<\/p>\n<p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/macbookpro\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.apple.com\/macmini\/images\/designdimensions20060228.jpg\" \/><br \/><font size=\"1\">The Mac Mini<\/font><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>A Pumped Mac Mini With a Monitor<\/b>. I can afford a very good Mac Mini and the 23&#8243; cinema display.<\/p>\n<p><u>Pros<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very small.<\/li>\n<li>I get a bigger screen (I have a 21&#8243; CRT)<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s Intel (can run Boot Camp).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<u>Cons<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not very fast (1.66ghz).<\/li>\n<li>No video card (can&#8217;t play Uru).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/macbookpro\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.apple.com\/macbookpro\/images\/index1720060424.png\" \/><br \/><font size=\"1\">The MacBook Pro<\/font><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>A 15.4&#8243; 2.16ghz MacBook Pro<\/b>. I can afford this model, and a laptop would be great. The screen size doesn&#8217;t really bother me, I can live with a 15&#8243; screen.<\/p>\n<p><u>Pros<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It&#8217;s a laptop! Portable!<\/li>\n<li>Powerful. 2.16ghz is one of the most powerful Macs.<\/li>\n<li>Intel!<\/li>\n<li>Great graphics card. Radeon X1600 with 256mb memory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Cons<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overheats quickly (like, <em>really<\/em> hot).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.apple.com\/imac\/images\/indexfrontrow20060109.jpg\" \/><br \/><font size=\"1\">The iMac<\/font><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>The iMac 20&#8243; Top-Notch<\/b>. For less money than a MacBook Pro, I could get a top-of-the-line iMac. Wireless peripherals, 20&#8243; screen, Intel dual core 2ghz, 500gb hard drive, Radeon x1600 with 256mb memory, 2gb ram&#8230;All good.<\/p>\n<p><u>Pros<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It has basically top-notch everything.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<u>Cons<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I really don&#8217;t like the design of the new iMac. The whole all-in-one screen thing just bugs me.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Oddly, while writing this post I pretty much decided on the iMac.
